"The film’s sense of subtlety is certainly one of its major strengths, as it never becomes more ridiculous than it needs to, but always remains amusing." Matt Lowe - Film Ink

Synopsis

After his psychologist has a mental breakdown, Richard ‘Dick’ Warner feels cheated. And decides if his shrink’s crazy enough to land in the nut house, then he’s sane enough to counsel other people. So he opens his own therapy practice out of his garage. In rival response to his new career move, Dick’s best friend and housemate, Reece, reinvents himself as a spiritual healer to steal his clients. But despite the direct competition, Dick’s dirt cheap mental health proves to be a success with the bottom feeders of his local community. And amid the dysfunction of his chosen course, Dick begins to feel a sense of satisfaction and self worth which opens the door for what he’s been chasing all along… love.
